Though Instagram-scrolling Austin scenesters have likely seen much of her work on their feeds throughout the years – she’s made flyers to promote many a local vendor market, and even Soccer Mommy’s most recent show at Radio/East – @eliannasart is everywhere. The artist, born Elianna Panakis, makes cute ‘n’ quirky merch for local DIY devotees – from stellar Hyde Park Hotties and Keep Abortion Safe tees to a slew of tiny tanks, G-strings, and baby tees for acts like Farmer’s Wife, Die Spitz, and Mr. Kat. Panakis’ own doodled characters – long-limbed dancers, creatures sipping martinis, and other oddballs – epitomize Austin culture.
