It’s no surprise that Downtown Austin and East Austin are fully loaded with coffee shops ready and willing to make fancy lattes with well-sourced ingredients, but it’s been a real pleasure to see more artisanal java locales opening in farther-flung Austin neighborhoods. One prime example is Cenizo, a duo of coffee trucks located in far Southeast Austin and Del Valle that use locally roasted beans to make playful and seasonally appropriate drinks like the honey lavender latte, the cafe de olla latte (spiced with cinnamon and piloncillo), and their already-famous iced horchata latte.
