It’s not totally clear what vibe Cabana Club is going for. The spacious East Seventh bar doubles as a coffee shop, and encourages patrons to use it as a co-working space when it opens bright and early at 7am every day. Yet it also attracts bougie millennials with its craft cocktail menu and outdoor pool, and everyman sports fans with its huge patio TV screen. In any case, the drinks slap, the bartenders are friendly, and that patio projector does, in fact, make for a great UT football viewing experience. The bar’s been known to offer free hot dogs on occasion as well. A lot going on, but it’s all good.
