Retired at 70 from his celebrated Supernatural Family Band, and more barefoot than bareass, he can be found rollicking to the music of the Texana Dames, his wife and daughters' band, as they perform around Austin. Out cavorting most nights at legendary Austin clubs, he's known and loved by honky-tonk denizens and dancers.
