On the surface, this year's champs represent two poles of the home-decorating world: Room Service for off-beat, quirky, and vintage tastes, and West Elm for newly manufactured comfort. The color stories are unique, from the citrons, mauves, and medium browns of Room Service to the whites, silvers, and dark chocolates of West Elm.
