Roy Kizer Golf Course opened last year next to Jimmy Clay Golf Course in Southeast Austin, giving the Austin Parks and Recreation Department their sixth public course, and the city a challenging and environmentally friendly golf course. The course is laid out in European links style, with lots of water hazards that also serve as wetlands habitat for wildlife.
