    Through Nov. 21, 5-8 p.m.

    Verdant Gallery

    703 W.10th, Austin Downtown

    free
Verdant Gallery is pleased to present "Valleys Made High", a solo exhibition by Hunter Ash. An abstract painting series that offers spaces of comfort and wonder and inspired by the imagery in Isaiah 40, each painting hints at a natural landscape as both something we inhabit and something continually changing. Valleys rise. Mountains are made low. Grass withers, flowers fade. What appears permanent, is temporary; giving hints at a natural world that may feel lasting, although not eternal. We see the sense of hope in spaces of the natural world, and in all their beauty they point to something greater. 5128086033
