Milk and cookies. Salt and pepper. Revolution and zines. These things just … fit. In troubled times, it feels good to make things – to cut, glue, and write in community. Creation is rebellion, and there’s no better way to partake than with Austin Public Library as part of their Women’s History Month programming. Whether you’re a zine-making machine or unsure how that word’s even pronounced, there’s room for you this Wednesday. Join other creators to learn the basics of zine creation, contribute to a community zine, make a page for the APL Centennial Zine, or add your own women-forward work to the Austin Public Library Zine Collection. There’ll be scissors, glue, and stickers for all. – Cat McCarrey
