For magician Zak Mirz, sitting quietly and watching the show isn’t really the point. Kid at Heart turns the audience into the director, letting attendees help decide what happens next as the magic unfolds. Mirz – a Penn and Teller: Fool Us winner who has also appeared on America’s Got Talent and worked as a magic adviser to David Blaine – mixes illusions with storytelling in an interactive, all-ages performance. The State Theatre hosts two chances to play along Sunday, with shows at 2 and 5pm. – Erika Gonzalez
