What whimsy awaits this weekend as our botanical garden reopens their Woodland Faerie Trail with many wee houses along its path. Opening celebrations pack in the magic with a faerie wish line, ribbon wand station, wish stone decoration, and a music & bubble zone, all of which are included in your garden admission. (Six bucks for adult Austinites, and only $3 for kids ages 3-17.) Ticketed offerings include a trail exploration with the Central Texas Mycological Society, where you’ll learn about magical & mysterious fairy rings, and a planter workshop, where folks can make their own enchanted mini-gardens. – James Scott
