“Imagine yourself at an outdoor Kava Bar,” reads the description for this comedy show, “complete with a stage designed to whisk you away down the Yellow Brick Road.” What a chill, relaxing time! Would it be pretty chaotic if an audience member were to, say, throw down a Cards Against Humanity deck that derails this classic story like some sort of tornado? Yet that’s the exact premise of multimedia collective Communication by Captivation’s Wild Card series, where a single CAH card can have our Ozian heroes going places they’ve never gone before. With Emerald City-inspired drinks and food, every performance of this adults-only show will be a deliciously different experience. – James Scott
