Hide your Paddington plushies, as this neo-noir crime thriller’s got teddy bear decapitation right in the first act. Following nightclub disc jockey Norah Dain after she receives threats both over the phone and on her doorstep, the film’s runtime touches on as many taboo subjects as could shock the British Board of Film Classification, who refused to certify it. (The Catholic Church also boycotted it, but they do that for basically everything fun.)
