Happy 100th birthday to a certain bear of very little brain. Technically, it’s been 102 years since Edward Bear first wandered into the pages of Punch as the subject of the poem “Teddy Bear.” However, this year marks the centennial celebration of the publication of Winnie-the-Pooh, A.A. Milne’s delightfully nonsensical collection of short stories about the misadventures of Pooh Bear, his best friend Christopher Robin, Piglet, and all those other beloved residents of the Hundred Acre Wood.
