NPR’s long-running panel show makes another stop at Bass Concert Hall for a live taping. Panelists have not yet been announced, nor has the “Not My Job” guest celebrity, but it’s a safe bet they’ll tap an Austin musician. (Danny Brown, Britt Daniel, Dale Watson, and Robert Earl Keen have previously slid into the hot seat.) Also unclear: Who’ll be the announcer/scorekeeper now that Bill Kurtis has retired (as of May 23) his mellifluous pipes. So really, the only two things guaranteed: Our white-knuckle news cycle is sure to provide plenty of material to riff on, and the still-reliable Wait Wait... will alchemize all that grimness into comedy gold. – Kimberley Jones
