Melt your brain, not your tape at this marathon of home-video tricks & treats. The tricks? Those come via a live special effects demo from artist Gwenyth Williamson, who creates grotesqueries you must see to believe! Oh, and the treat is that 5pm to midnight screening of VHS delights from deep within the WLV shelves – freako stuff, perf for Letterboxd clout – plus Austin VHS Swap vendors hawkin’ black and perhaps even multi-hued tape-erinos for the discerning collector (or the nostalgic fool, as I personally identify). Consider it a lead-up to whatever you’ve obvi got planned for International Video Store Day, which drops this Saturday. – James Scott
