The first time the U.S. got to see this second entry in the gothic Vampire Hunter D series, it only played in 12 theatres total. Yet like many anime films of the early 2000s, it gained an audience through VHS & DVD sales the next year as well as positive reviews that praised its dark, deep vibes. Will you, too, fall under the spell of the alluring D, a half-vamp hunter whose main thing is rescuing maidens in distress and looking cool as hell in a wide brimmed hat?
