Coding’s still a stellar skill to learn, even if the tech industry seems dead-set on overloading artificial intelligence rather than cultivating a more balanced workflow between humans and their AI assistants. Kiddos 9-12 years old can learn all the ins-and-outs of Python for free at the library in this four-week workshop, which kicks off on Jan. 6 and runs every Tuesday this month. Through these lessons, they’ll be able to tackle all sorts of projects, from interactive artwork to animations and even video games. – James Scott
