Roots-inspired singer-songwriter Troy Campbell first shaped Austin’s music scene as a co-founder of alt-country outfit Loose Diamonds. He went on to meticulously craft songs on his own, produce countless other artists, found international artist collective the House of Songs, and most recently, create the travel series City of Songs on PBS. As busy as he is, this thoughtful storyteller still finds time to celebrate the vinyl release of his acclaimed second solo record, American Breakdown, in an intimate performance at Waterloo Records. – Caroline Drew
