It might be hard to feel patriotic with all this *gestures wildly at everything* going on. But if there's something worth standing and saluting, it’s jazz singer Cicely Renée Jones’ voice. Sweet and clear, with a little bit of smoke, she’s bringing the American songbook to Penfold Theatre. Her repertoire will present a sampling of the best folk, jazz, and rock standards American singer-songwriters can offer. You know what often comes out of tumultuous times? Great art. Timeless reminds us that historically, the USA has made some pretty great tunes.
