Auricle Chamber presents Thunderous Rapture: a two-night concert event that explores the bass clarinet as an expressive force of nature! In Stephen Savage’s Austin solo debut, he’ll be playing Jennifer Jolley’s (@whycompose) sensuous Sounds from the Gray Goo, his own work And Thus, York Bowen's dramatic Phantasy Quintet, and Leo Ornstein's incomparable and virtually unheard Cello Sonatas No. 1 & 2, which he himself arranged for bass clarinet.
