Third Nature: Scenes of Urban Ecology

"Third Nature: Scenes of Urban Ecology" is a collection of paintings and prints by Paul Tardie which illustrate organisms and environments in Montana, California, and Texas. Viewers may recognize some of the locations depicted as Commons Ford, the alleys of the North Loop neighborhood, McKinney Falls, Walnut Creek Trail, and the view of downtown from Castle Hill. Several species native to Texas are depicted in these paintings which may be seen in gardens, lawns, infrastructure, and recreational areas of Austin. Closing event 5 pm to 8 pm on February 7th.
