[POSTPONED] The Worst Person in the World + Pillion

If we’re lucky, lives are long and loves are many, but if we’re being honest, it’s the early ones that most imprint on us. Paramount Summer Classics has programmed an ingenious double feature in these tonally different but complementary films that zero in on young people’s journey of self-discovery, inside and outside of pivotal relationships with men. First up: Renate Reinsve, who shot to stardom as a wandering soul in Joachim Trier’s Oslo-set, pretty much perfect anti-romantic comedy. Then: Harry Melling, discovering his non-negotiables as a sub to Alexander Skarsgård’s biker Dom in Harry Lighton’s funny, tender debut film. – Kimberley Jones
