Morrison uses the discovery of old Soviet film reels found in the ocean as inspiration for a meditation on cinema. UT-Austin professor Joan Nueberger will introduce the film and moderate a post-screening discussion with the director, and the film is accompanied by a screening of Morrison's latest short, "Her Violet Kiss," a collaboration with musician Michael Montes.
