Austin’s presidential library is ready to debut its latest makeover. The LBJ will host a packed afternoon filled with live music, giveaways, arts and crafts, and food. The museum’s permanent exhibit, focused on the life story of the 36th president, has been updated, and a brand-new one, “What We Bring to the Table,” will be unveiled and begin its nine-month run. According to the library, the exhibit “highlights how people from many backgrounds have lived, worked, and created a sense of home in the United States.” – Joseph Gonzalez
