While many jam bands skip Austin in favor of the coasts – or Colorado – the String Cheese Incident always seems to choose Austin. Emerging from Boulder in the late Nineties, the sixpiece still maintains a touring schedule that can rival just about anyone’s. Austin marks the second of 22 dates on the band’s Just Keep Spinning Tour. They’ll twirl their way from Texas up to Wisconsin, serving up a colorful blend of playful improvisational rock infused with elements of electronica and worldbeat.
