Hyde Park Theatre
Hyde Park’s Katherine Catmull sold The Making of a Great Moment as “something a little warmer and more uplifting in these grim times,” and honestly I can’t think of anything better for this autumnal season. A play with genuine, likable characters who just want to spread goodness in the world? Lovely. Jeff Mills and Lee Eddy star as two Canadian actors/cyclists, members of the “Victoria Canada Bicycle Theatre Company.” Together they spread the joy of peak artistic and physical performance from province to province. I have a feeling the power of art will win at the end, but we’ll have to see it to believe it. – Cat McCarrey
