This family-friendly production should satisfy your Narnia itch until Greta Gerwig’s reimagining of The Magician’s Nephew arrives in movie theatres Feb. 12, 2027. C.S. Lewis’ much-loved fantasy series starter introduces the Pevensie children – you remember Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy – and the magical world of Narnia, home to Aslan the lion and the evil White Witch (and oodles of Christian allegory that’s easy enough to ignore). In this dramatization by Le Clanché du Rand, only two actors perform all the roles (Theron Howard and CJ Remo in Zach’s production), suggesting that, in addition to endless winter, there’ll be no shortage of imagination in this trip to Narnia. – Kimberley Jones
