The Great Gatsby

Seeing green lights in the distance? Feeling haunted by a billboard’s bespectacled eyes? Hungry for an Old Egg? You’ve got what’s commonly called Gatsby fever – or Jay-itis, as the kids call it. The only cure is snagging a ticket to the Broadway in Austin presentation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel-turned-musical. Given our very own Austin Public Library is celebrating its centennial, now’s the best time to go turbo Twenties mode with this tale of money, love, and drunk driving. See you at the theatre, old sport! – James Scott
