There is something so 1985 about a group of kids in rain slickers riding their bikes through Oregon in search of hidden treasure. Watching Mikey, Mouth, Chunk, Data, and their friends have the adventure of a lifetime, and still make it home for dinner, gets me nostalgic for a time before phone tracking. The quintessential summertime flick, this tale of adventure, boyhood, and the perils of gentrification has it all.
