Opening with a splash at the LINE Austin via a sunset swim soundtracked by Neon Rainbows’ DJ Ed West, this year’s multi-day festival of music, film, and art marks Future Front’s 10th anniversary. Their mission of uplifting Texas women and LGBTQ+ artists continues apace from Friday’s music showcase at Swan Dive including performances and workshops to screenings at Saturday’s indie film festival showing 12 pictures by Texan talents. And, coming full circle, the whole thing ends with another fabulous trip to the pool, this time with spins by DJs Riobamba and BAD APPLE.
