Get weird with free screening series Odd World as they ring in the new year with a messy John Travolta picture. By no means the first – or last – entry in Travolta’s late-stage career crisis canon, this tale of parasocial obsession gone out of control has the Grease star in full bowl-cut mode as he chases a grownup Devon Sawa. It’s an experience that could only come from the mind who gave us “Rollin’.” That’s right: Fred Durst directed this movie. If that ain’t worth your weeknight time, maybe the promise of free beer will get your butt in a seat. – James Scott
