We’re still reeling in many ways from the COVID-19 pandemic, which took the world on a journey six years ago that no one was truly prepared for. Well, some people were more prepared than others, like UT-Austin researcher Jason McLellan, whose work with viral and bacterial proteins has factored into the development of various vaccines. McLellan will be on hand for a special Science on Screen/Texas Science Fest presentation of a compelling documentary that takes a minute-by-minute look at how the pandemic unfolded. A post-screening discussion will cover what lessons we learned and what we didn’t. – Kat McNevins
