Beerthoven is all about making classical music approachable, via unconventional venues, casual attire, lower ticket prices, and free-flowing brewskis. Their concert series at Austin’s historic Saengerrunde Hall ticks all those boxes and more; in addition to Lazarus Brewing libations, there’ll be wine and NA bevvies plus Easy Tiger pastries. But the music, naturally, is the main event. A partnership with the Austin chapter of the American Guild of Organists, “Pipe Dreams” promises a night of baroque music performed on digital organ (Chris Oelkers, Gregory Eaton, Sheryl Sebo, Midori Ataka), trumpet (Adam Gordon), and vocals (bass Robert LeBas, soprano Adrienne Pedrotti Bingamon). – Kimberley Jones
