The Austin Chronicle Hair of the Three-Legged Dog Day Party w/ BRUCE (3:15pm), Team Trust (2:15pm), Égaux Sells (1:15pm), Free Hamze (12:30pm)

The Chronicle’s long-running South by Southwest tradition returns – on Friday the 13th, no less! This free-with-RSVP, Austin-centric party isn’t especially spooky, but it doesn’t need to be with free Eldorado Cafe tacos, Bloody Revolution libations, and a stacked musical lineup. Rapper/producer/event thrower/sax slinger Free Hamze kicks off the music at high noon, then Égaux Sells turns the Vegas patio into a club straight out of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Team Trust will come through with a team-building exercise for the post-punk lovers of the world, all before Austin Music Award winner Carrie Fussell wraps up with her theatrical new art-pop project, BRUCE. – Carys Anderson
