The Austin Chronicle 36th Annual Hot Sauce Festival benefiting Central Texas Food Bank w/ Lauren Lakis, the Latin Dukes, Libby & the Loveless, DJ Mahealani

The external temperature is rising, so why not boost your internal thermometer, too? The Chronicle’s 36th annual Hot Sauce Festival will do just that. Revel in the power of the chile pepper with us at Radio/East and use your own power to vote for your favorite concoctions – and grab a bottle or two to keep the heat up at home. While your taste buds sweat it out, give your dancing feet a chance to do the same with sets from expert vibe-blender DJ Mahealani, two-steppin’ dynamos Libby and the Loveless, fusion royalty the Latin Dukes, and alt-rock aficionado Lauren Lakis. – Caroline Drew
