This class is tailored for practitioners of any experience level, and will look at many examples of altarcraft from occult history. We will explore the role these sacred spaces play in magic and witchcraft, and analyze how conceptions of the witch’s altar have changed throughout the centuries. Together, we will encounter an overview of altar styles found around the world, a look at altar objects and iconography, as well as useful tips for building and keeping these sacred spaces ourselves.
