The 26th Annual March to Abolish the Death Penalty: Honor the Dead, Fight for the Living!
When: Sat., Nov. 1, 2-4 p.m. 2025
Join us on the Capitol street steps at 11th and Congress for the 26th Annual March to Abolish the Death Penalty. Each year we bring together family members of death row prisoners, former death row prisoners, victims families, activists, and political figures to take a stand against state-sanctioned murder.
The death penalty remains one of the sharpest edges of a criminal "injustice" system that punishes the poor and people of color disproportionately. On this Day of the Dead we will honor those we have lost through speeches, music, marching and the creation of special communal altar.
