Texture Talks is a free community event presented by Angel In Me Incorporated and hosted by Bridge Foster & Adoptive that provides trauma-informed education on textured hair care, hygiene, identity, and cultural connection. Designed for foster, adoptive, kinship, biological, and caregiving families, the event includes hands-on demonstrations, resources, free haircuts, and access to the Texture Talks Ecosystem, a growing network of barbers, stylists, beauty supply stores, community partners, and experienced families. The goal is to equip caregivers with practical tools while helping children feel confident, supported, and connected to their culture and community.
