Ice hockey in Central Texas? Heck yeah! Your Texas Stars skate into the ring this weekend for their season start. This two-night visit from the Iowa Wild marks something of a return, as the franchise started back in 1994 as the Houston Aeros before moseying off to Des Moines in 2013. Give ’em a Lone Star welcome back, complete with boot-stomping and hat-waving. Seats are pretty affordable, starting at $37.15, but interested spenders can get the “Pepsi Zero Sugar Family 4 Pack,” whatever that is. – James Scott
