Long committed to showcasing new, young composers, indie classical ensemble Tetractys came up with a way to get as many of them in front of earholes and eyeballs as possible: the Here Be Monsters festival, now in its fourth year. If there’s such a thing as speed-round classical performances, it’s this. Over the course of two nights, 27 artists get 20 minutes each, with 10 of those artists performing world premieres of their pieces. Acts include the Stop Motion Orchestra, Panoramic Voices, Inversion Ensemble, the Kraken Quartet, the Atonal Guitar Duo, Density512, and so many more. – Michael Toland
