"Tending Lineage" brings together three artists whose practices emerge from earth-based materials and traditions shaped by patience, care, and time. Working through different mediums, Figbeard, Nam Joti Kaur Khalsa, and Travis Belton share a devotion to craft as a living practice. Trees are tended into sculpture, brooms become totems of protection, and wild clay gathered from Central Texas is shaped into forms that carry memory. Together, their works reveal how materials hold history and how making itself becomes stewardship, an ongoing conversation between land, tradition, and the hands of contemporary makers.
