Adult life has many singular advantages, like deciding your own bedtime, but what doesn’t really exist for most mature individuals is that perfect three-month-ish break mid-year that all schoolgoing youth enjoy. (Exceptions exist for those among us afflicted with permanent grad-school-itis.) But much like an adult can simply choose to konk out at 2am, so too can they give themselves a break from their busy life with a trip to the art gallery. Enjoy a little cultural chill time at Ivester’s new exhibition then. The amuse-bouche of their currently represented and listed artists (like Josias Figueirido, Kalee Appleton, and Anya Molyviatis, among others) offers a solid representation of the gallery’s “focus on process, experimentation, and joy.” – James Scott
