As the name implies, this chat’s all about stories and their power once shared. Makes sense, then, that award-winning writer Tayari Jones is this session’s guest; her latest, Kin, covers the lives of two Louisiana ladies from their younger days in the 1950s through to adulthood. The novel was born, in fact, from the author attempting to write a backstory for a more contemporary novel.
