Bracing yourself for an evening of Thanksgiving small talk with distant relatives, desperately avoiding any awkward differences of opinion? Join Story-Oke to get out your giggles before buttoning up for Thursday’s table. It promises musical mayhem, with five storytellers using their gifts to regale listeners with moving musical moments in their lives, complete with an accompanying song performance. Audiences can join in the mayhem afterward with Xpider Karaoke. Belting out your own touchstone tunes and hearing carefully crafted stories? Now that’s something to be grateful for. – Cat McCarrey
