Seems like breakups are all the rage these days. There’s local artist Hannah Spector’s annual Valentine’s Day performance “Break Up With Me,” in which she allows people to, well, end it with her (or vice versa) in a strange mashup of family therapy and LARPing. And now, we have February’s edition of Story-Oke. Instead of speaking, you gotta sing your tale of woe at this special installment specifically devoted to the grand finales of love in all their forms. Even better – or worse, depending on your idea of fun – you can put your name in for a “Mystery-Oke” – your chance to get onstage and sing a song you haven’t prepared for. – Lina Fisher
