Stories in Seven

Our beloved bookshop at Sixth & Lamar has the motto “A Community Bound by Books,” and it’s true – our stories are what bind us together. Share one of your own or just enjoy those of others at this special storytelling open mic where everyone’s got seven minutes. With the theme “Back to School,” will we hear about the worst (or best) college roommate ever, a teacher that really left their mark, or perhaps a fantastic or fearful first day? Endless possibilities await, but only one storyteller will leave with a $25 gift card for being the audience favorite of the night. – Kat McNevins
