If you’re looking to hobnob with other fleet-footed folk, but don’t love how full of themselves those marathoners can be, this is a nice middle ground. The 10-kilometer course (that’s 6.2 miles for imperial devotees) starts at the Congress bridge, loops around Downtown, and terminates at Vic Mathias Shores. If you’re still in the mood for socializing after all that hoofing, there’s a finish line festival with vendors, food, live music, and more to keep your runner’s high alive. – James Renovitch
