St. David’s HealthCare partners with Kyle Police Department for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The Kyle Police Department has partnered with St. David's HealthCare to help prevent the misuse of prescription medications. This Prescription Drug Take Back event encourages community members to remove unneeded or expired medications from their homes as a proactive measure against medication misuse. These efforts will help prevent drug addiction, overdoses, and illegal distribution by ensuring prescription drugs do not end up in the wrong hands. Participants can safely dispose of controlled substances, over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, creams, non-aerosol sprays, vials, and pet medications. Used needles and other sharps will not be accepted. All accepted medications will be properly destroyed.
