From Pease Park Conservancy comes the sixth annual festival celebrating the org’s mascot, the bold and industrious squirrel. In partnership with Future Front and SnoRide ATX, they’re pulling out all the stops for a full day of games, activities, snacks, and music, capped off with a free screening of Zootopia courtesy of Rocket Cinema. Stop by the Austin Bat Cave book bus, try your hand at squirrel origami with the Japan-America Society of Greater Austin, experiment with sun prints and cyanotypes, view the Hill Country Ride for AIDS Mile of Silence installation, and lots more, all set in Central Austin’s idyllic Pease Park. – Kat McNevins
