Everyone should see this Ghibli classic at least once, and preferably many times throughout life, whenever one needs a boost of inspiration and courage. Kids especially should take this opportunity to see it on the big screen, and enjoy full immersion in Hayao Miyazaki’s brilliant & strange world of spirits. Apart from the gorgeous animation of a Japanese bathhouse and the serene landscape surrounding it, 10-year-old Chihiro’s odyssey through the spirit world has yielded so many iconic characters – the soot sprites, the radish spirit, No Face, Yubaba. If you’re not already acquainted with these guys, you’re in for a real treat. Pre-6pm screenings are dubbed, while evening shows have Japanese audio and English subtitles. – Lina Fisher
